Due to some buyers having concerns around entering homes at this time, I am offering “virtual tours” of properties for pre-qualified buyers. I will film a walk through and make it available to you with a link, or we can use a two way video app on our phones and you can see it in “real time”to interact during the virtual showing. I am still conducting in person home tours with clients that prefer this over video – this may change in the future depending on what is advised by our state or local governments.
Remember that most of the real estate purchase process is done digitally anyway with email and eSign software, so no major changes there. And if you are not able to work an online process, I can print hard copies of all documents for you to sign.
Interest rates remain low (rates change daily) and qualification criteria may also change periodically. Interest rates impact not only how much your monthly payments are, they also impact the total cost of the loan. Even with more inventory coming on the market, listings in the under $500K price range are often receiving multiple offers─so it’s important to be prepared and have your prequalification letter or loan approval in hand so you can quickly get an offer in when you find the right home to buy.
